Taro Terashi

Taro Terashi is the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at Ricoh Innovations. He is responsible for developing corporate strategy in cooperation with Ricoh Innovations executives and Ricoh corporate executives, to lead the way for the growth and development of the Ricoh Group. He also is leading a network appliance solutions project for the vertical market.

Prior to joining Ricoh Innovations, Terashi worked at Ricoh Company, Ltd. in Japan, where he focused on R&D projects for new business, such as the Optical Disk Project and the Plastic Film Display Project, receiving 45 patents in Japan, US and Korea. Additionally, he performed significant project management duties as both manager and leader for Ricoh's Central Research Office:

- General Manager of Green Printing R&D Department
- General Manager of Digital Fabrication R&D Department
- Project Leader of Near Field Optics Research

Terashi received his B.E. in chemical engineering from Kyushu University in 1989. In academic societies, he has served as technical committee member of the Imaging Society of Japan (ICJ) in 2007-2009, committee member of The Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T:USA) in 2009, and session chair of the IS&T conference in 2007-2009.
